Good Karma: ACLU
Each month at KARMA jack, one of our team members chooses a charity, non-profit, or organization that resonates with them. Then, we make a donation to help their cause. We call this our Good KARMA philosophy, and it’s our way of giving back. For September 2022, one of our Content Writers, Eli has chosen the American Civil Liberties Union.
The ACLU works in the courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to all people in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
Why I Chose Them
“My contribution for this month goes to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Their mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees. Right now, as abortion rights are under attack, as the rights of trans people are under attack and as voting rights are under attack, their work is more important than ever. Very happy to contribute to the preservation of the rights of the most vulnerable in our country.”
